Low Light and Night time photography course in Liverpool docks location on 21/01/19 with Nina and six students including me. WOW!!! Nina taught me a vast amount about how to get the photos you want and about those shots you cannot see but the camera can. It was a cold evening with a short shower, but that allowed us chance to see reflections in the standing water on the pavements. Very important to go through the pre-course package on their web site. Know the function of your numerous camera buttons and bring a small torch and a strong tripod. Bring plenty battery power and spares. Nina made it a very informative evening and very exciting. The shots on my laptop came out very well. Thank you for such a brilliant course Nina. Looking forward to attending another in the future.

I've been a long time subscriber of EOS Magazine and had always wanted to try one or two courses at the EOS Training Academy. I got made redundant in December 2017 and decided to spend some time getting more out of my camera and try them out.

I joined the Low Light and Night Photography course in January 2018. It was great and I got a lot more out of it than I expected in terms of camera operation. Realising I really wanted to learn more about my camera and knowing how good the trainers are I signed up for another course, Mastering Your EOS, so beneficial to learn how to use the menu system and why the camera does what it does in certain setups. By the end of 2018 I had done 4 courses as I also signed up for the Flash for Beginners and Creative Speedlite courses. I really got so much from these courses and both in knowledge and confidence and I'm already looking at which course I'll do next in 2019!

Nina and Brian are exceptional trainers and I highly recommend the EOS Training Academy to anyone wanting to learn more about their Canon EOS equipment. Its also fun too!

I've included some of my shots from the courses.

An excellent day, with our model Tanith contributing as much to to the learning experience as our tutor Brian Worley. I was easily the least-experienced of the eight course members with the least sophisticated equipment, but I never felt left out or left behind, although I did find the morning theory session quite intense t times.. We tried a number of lighting set-ups with each carefully explained. The attached portrait shots of Tanith are straight out of my camera ~ not edited in any way. Highly recommended.

I have wanted to attend this course for a few years but previous dates and venues would have made it impossible for me to get there from the Midlands without an overnight stay.
Nina is an excellent tutor and the course easily met my expectations. I learned so much about my camera (an EOS 7D Mkii) that made very little sense when I have gone through the owner’s handbook.
I now feel much more confident about the controls on my camera that I hope to get out more with it and explore its capabilities.
I would recommend this course and EOS Magazine to anyone using Canon cameras.

I had a great day with Nina, she is very knowledgeable on all aspects of Canon EOS products, and how they work.
I found the information on how different lenses and settings can change the outcome of a photograph very useful and I am looking forward to the next course in July.
The Get to know your EOS course is very useful for anyone new Canon products to or not too sure how to obtain the best from their camera.
In all a very enjoyable and informative day, well worth the cost .

Nina Bailey is a great trainer who knows the Canon cameras to a very high level. Our day at Chester Zoo was very good with plenty of opportunities to learn and practice.
Our group had very different cameras and ability levels and Nina was able to answer all questions and show the difference between all the models.
An excellent course for all levels of and models of Canon Cameras, she let us use her 100 - 400 lens to see the difference an L series can make

Highly recommended
