Beware of questionable practices. I got signed up with them and I was asked for a lot of information including some personal details. That seems strange straight away. No other agency in the past asked for so much information just to get me on their system. I was told this is to make sure they can match me with perfect job/employer and not waste my time. Yet I kept receiving jobs that in some cases had nothing to do with my requirements (completely wrong location, salary that wasn't even close to what I was looking for). I came across employer who told me they cancel contract with them for questionable practices. For agency that recruits in security segment they should treat personal details more seriously. I eventually requested them to completely delete all my details from their system as I was fed up of automatic e-mails with jobs not matching specific criteria. If you decide to go with them don't give away personal details other than bare necessary required at early stage of recruitment.
Update. Despite requesting to delete all of my personal information I still receive calls from them. 6 months after I requested all my data to be deleted from their system

Used to really enjoy working with tech resources and had done for a good 15 years. But the staff have now completely changed over and are much more target driven and client focused which results in quite ruthless approach. They have a keen interest in keeping day rates down on contractors. I was left with no work for an entire week at the beginning of the year and offered zero explanation of a reason. I finally cut ties with them in may 24 as I no longer trusted or felt they were working in my best interest.

Signed up with Tech Res middle of March this year (2024) and have had work pretty much constantly since then, Josh has been my go to throughout and always helped me with any queries and sorted out any issues I had.
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the onboarding process at the start, being completely new to self employment as a subbie, was a bit disjointed and I seemed to deal with multiple people rather than just one, it also felt like nobody took the time to walk/talk me through the whole process and there was some duplication of work.
Nonetheless, I'm glad I stuck with them and with Josh assisting me, I have absolutely no regrets at going through Tech Res. Paid on time with no issues, regular work, what more could you ask for ?

I have worked for Techres for over 6 years without any gaps.
The team are fantastic. Absolutely no issues. The pay is good and they make sure you feel part of the team of company your contracting too.

Having used technical resources for over 5 years now they have found my work on some short but mostly long term contracts. I've never had a brake in work as they are on top of finding other work or renewing of contracts before they finish. Good rates of pay with milage and expenses. Moat importantly paid on Time everytime. Have and will continue to recommend them too others.

Rude and unprofessional....contacted by Tech about a contract. I gave then so much information I.e references, qualifications, NI number as part of the application process.
He then went on holiday and couldn't be bothered to phone me upon his return to explain the client went elsewhere.
He was also rude by saying " it's only servicing fire extinguishers " ....very rude.
