I attended Yafta for many years, I went to the weekly evening classes and a lot of the amazing workshops they offered. The training has given me so many tools which I use daily in the industry. I recommend to anyone who wants to pursue a career in screen acting

It wasn’t my experience but my sisters experience a few years ago and it was dreadful and I’d warn people against signing any contracts with you. At least that was my family’s experience. You took money off us when you had no moral right too and when you initially agreed to refund us but then suddenly changed your mind and decided you’d rather take us to court which was something we couldn’t afford as you’d already taken thousands from us.

I can say with complete honesty that the staff at YAFTA has provided me with an unparalleled level of support.

In just 18 months I have learnt so much. With exposure to a variety of acting techniques, I was able to discover the methods that work best for me.

YAFTA has been an amazing experience for me it’s been 18 months of pure joy!

The quality of teaching from Dave Zezulka & Kate Chappell has been outstanding
Both are kind, knowledgeable and encouraging
They are both so easy to work with they both bring different things to your “acting tool box”

The Diploma covers all the main acting techniques and styles including Stanislavski, Chekhov and Laban as well as how to navigate the industry which is invaluable information for someone starting out.
Spotlight, Agents, Equity, Casting Directors etc

There’s generous support all the way through from staff and the others in my small group.
After this training I am now a professional actress working within the industry.

I do not hesitate to recommend YAFTA to anyone that is serious about a professional acting career no matter what age you are!

A very professional organisation with experienced and friendly tutors for acting classes for all ages and levels and affordable Masterclasses for the more serious actors. My 12 year old has been attending teenage acting classes for 8 months, progressing on from a children's stage school. She finds the classes fun, encouraging and challenging and now attends acting Masterclasses. I would highly recommend YAFTA to anyone of any age who is a keen to learn from people who are experienced in the acting industry.

This company is quite simply, the best in Yorkshire for acting classes and workshops. I have attended many different classes and workshops in the past and none have gone into as much depth about acting and the industry as a whole than what I have seen from YAFTA. Low prices, very experienced teachers, can't recommend them enough.

I have attended several of YAFTAs weekly courses and their inaugral 2 day Masterclass (with former Emmerdale actor Kurtis Stacey) and continue to find them of great benefit to the aspiring actor.

The weekly courses cover key skills such as working with the camera, styles of acting, vocal coaching and other key skills needed to break into the film and TV industry. The tutors are engaging, knowledgable, honest and helpful and I can't recommend this Academy highly enough.

Based in Leeds city centre and on the outskirts of Leeds, the academy courses are accessible, great value for money and a great way to meet and work with other up and coming talent in a friendly, relaxed environment

It was OK
