I’m so very pleased with my experience from Thompson Driver Training (TDT). I highly recommend them to all who want professional tailored training!

For new learner, the experience from instructors/driving schools really matter in shaping them and their outlook. Prior to joining TDT, I was taking lessons on and off with other instructors however, I never had the motivation to continue learning or liked their ways of teaching. I remember coming home after lessons feeling drained and not looking forward to the next one. However, after my first lesson with TDT I knew I wanted to continue with them; I believe this is due to their adaptive way of working to meet learner needs and learning styles!

Each week I felt my confidence go up and being able to recognise the skills I had built up in such short time. I was able to progress more with TDT than I had over the years of training elsewhere, their style was tailored to how I would understand and pick up best.

I’m truly thankful to my instructor for the valuable lessons, feedback and experience. My instructor and TDT as a whole made me feel respected, safe and comfortable during all my lessons which is very important and essential for all learners! If only I had taken lessons here to begin with I know would’ve passed much much sooner!

The experience learning with TDT was amazing, I came to them with 10 days notice for my test and they managed to fit in just under 20 hours of lessons with me. The instructor was amazing and really explained everything with great depth and helped me understand what to do in every single situation I could face. Could not recommend TDT enough.

Gary is one of the best instructors I’ve encountered, he’s genuine, calm and extremely professional. I’ve always thought learning to drive was difficult based on previous experience with other instructors. I’d often struggle with various techniques, then I met Gary, he is very knowledgeable and patient. He’s the one who helped me to master driving! Now I’m more confident than ever, and I feel that I’m finitely on track to passing my driving test very soon. I highly recommend TDT to anyone who’d like to learn how to drive properly.

TDT is the best instructor you could ever have. I would definitely recommend them over and over. After failing my first attempt at the practical driving test as a new driver, I had lost my confidence and so took a long break from driving. When I finally returned to lessons, I had several disappointments with driving instructors until a friend referred me to TDT. I was impressed from the very first lesson. TDT pointed out my specific challenges and was able to provide me with lessons focused on strengthening my weaknesses with very constructive feedback after every lesson.
I could tell that I was improving with each lesson and soon my confidence returned. I booked and passed my driving test at the 2nd attempt with the help of TDT.

I had an amazing experience learning to drive with Saeed Khan as my instructor. He is incredibly patient and encouraging, which made a huge difference in building my confidence behind the wheel. Saeed has a calming presence and a clear way of explaining things, making each lesson productive and enjoyable. He never made me feel rushed or pressured, and he took the time to ensure I understood everything thoroughly before moving on.
