Tried dinner twice, drinks and the Brunch and Lunch menu. Each time we've enjoyed our food. It is slightly on the ££ side, for drinks also, but we have so far had good experiences each time, and the building is unique so creates a nice dining atmosphere. Lunch had slightly longer waiting time for food but with the doors not long being opened we didn't mind. Happy to have this in Alconbury Weald, and very happy its dog friendly at the bar area.

Great food and a good atmosphere. Some teething issues with service but that’s because it’s brand new and it’ll take some time to adjust. Parking at coop is time limited, but outside their venue or at the gym car park is not limited (afaik).

The team there are lovely, and the new owners are exceptionally friendly and really pulling the stops out to get it running smoothly.

We’re local to the bar and it’s great to have somewhere so nice in walking distance.

My favs are the evening starters: these are great to order just a load of them for two people and pick at! The buffalo sauce on the chicken is some of the best I’ve had!

Beers are quite expensive, but that’s common for a bar compared to a pub. Great selection.

We’ve visited maybe 5 times since it opened, so feel like we’ve got a good feel for the place!

It can get very busy in the evenings. Best to book.

Our first time visiting The Watch Office and we were very pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely, quirky bar/restaurant, (formerly a WWII watch tower). Intimate setting with lovely modern decor and very impressive & fitting mural on the back wall.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had an amazing evening. We'll definitely be visiting again.

What an exceptional place! Staff are very friendly, definitely a high end feel to the place. Food is very tasty, I personally really enjoyed the Watch Office burger.
Great selection of drinks, lovely to see Murphy’s on draft!
Parking was easy to find- you can park outside the building or in the car park next to the gym.
Wheelchair friendly building!
The new owners have done a great job and we can’t wait to go back🍺

Good food, great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff.

Tried the place after looking at some show homes in Alconbury Weald. We didn’t really expect much to be honest because we knew it just opened. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The Watch Office Beef Burger was meaty and tasty. Good portions too! Will definitely be back.

I had a great time. Lovely food, great atmosphere! Good service! Wish the Watch Tower burger was a double patty though. And the soy wings are a little too salty.

Beautiful venue, really lovely artwork and decor. The service was good, but the food was really mediocre. The presentation of the food was perfect, but the taste really let it down. The calamari was rubbery and the pasta was oily and bland. Everything else was great, just a shame about the food!

We’ve just moved to the area and we absolutely love coming into The Watch Office! The food is really good and tasty, the selection of drinks is great and the service is just wonderful. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and it’s so lovely to have somewhere to come to within walking distance that has such a warm and inviting atmosphere!
We slso joined the first pub quiz which was great fun and really made our Monday feel less gloomy. Thanks so much Watch Office and keep doing what you’re doing ☺️
