Just had a meal drinks and desert with friends (4 in total) on the 2 for 1 offer definitely worth a visit for what I call good pub grub at good prices.
Greeted by very friendly staff member (sorry didn’t remember name)who dealt and provided us throughout our meal with great delivery and friendly service.
The food was good just what I want and like at lunchtime.
All round pleasant experience and will definitely be back. Thanks again.😊

Liked: Good facilities, spacious pitches. Very friendly staff. Meals were very good. Dog friendly. Very good base for site seeing.

Disliked: Pitch number 17not suitable for larger vans.
Train noise could bother some but not us.

Now what can I Say! AMAZING ❤
Absolutely lovely place. Brilliant staff friendly and lively.
Henry, Helen, safi and all the girls fantastic hosts. Amazing food with the new chef. Everyone goes out there way to ensure perfect stay and involves you in entertainment. We have a little girl with special needs and all staff went out there way to include her in the entertainment. She Absolutely loves visiting here. We all do ❤.

Liked: Food at pub was great. Lady behind bar very helpful

Disliked: Booked hard standing but was then put in grass. Said I wouldn’t go n the grass. So was then placed in last hard standing pitch right outside toilets. Which was ok but very loud at times. Toilet / shower block was not good. Would give it 5 out of 10.

Liked: Nice tidy site, well kept
Great pub with tasty well priced food.
Great location to visit Warkworth, Alnwick and Amble.

Disliked: Toilets. Dirty when we got there Friday evening do put it down to that but didn't get cleaned all weekend. Tbh, didn't look like they'd been cleaned for a while.
Showers small and one didn't have a light, another no curtain so only left one.
A little train noise but expected.

Liked: The pub...the location and the site. Henry the site owner was extremely welcoming and despite a cold stormy January weekend, entertained us both evenings. Special mention to Saffy for being a great barmaid/host/waitress. To be fair the whole community, whether locals or fellow campers were just as friendly and the whole place felt like being part of a family gathering. Food was amazing with big portions and the staff eager to help. cannot recommend enough if you want a real fun experience.....watch out for the angriest singer in Gateshead.....he's a really nice bloke lol.

Disliked: only the weather and you can't do anything about that although it did brighten up eventually

Liked: Great food value food in the pub. Esp when I found when I went to pay that fish and chips was 2 for 1. Also great real ale from the farm brewery down the road. Friendly and calmly efficient behind the bar and great chat with the owner. Camp site was clean and tidy. Nice hot showers. Good quiet base for visiting Warkworth, Anwick etc
