Very good cafe located in part of a Football training venue.
Plenty of parking and easy access to cafe/bar. I tried a Bacon, Sausage & Egg sandwich with a coffee. Food quality was very good and fairly priced. Staff were polite and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Firstly, to be transparent, I have never ate at this establishment and my review concerns Penalty notices that I have received from Parking Eye.

Previously, parking was free but my child joined Alvechurch FC who use the pitches on this site. At no time in the weeks they attended training was I made aware that a QR code should be scanned to allow free parking (I normally sit in the car as its far too cold to be standing outside). Training takes place from about 7.30pm to 10.00pm - it is winter and its dark. Signage notifying you of payment/scanning QR code is not visible due to inadequate lighting, is high on the lamp posts, not visible by car headlights and they are not illuminated - its a lamp post, they have facility to illuminate but choose not to.

I have tried reaching out to the Hayes to get the tickets rescinded via email AND their 'contact us' form - but received no response. I discovered that Richard Thorndike is the Chairman of Alvechurch FC and also a Company Director of this establishment; is this a way to create extra income?

There is an excess of parking spaces and nothing within the vicinity which would indicate problematic parking, so I'm unsure why they decided to introduce parking eye.

Other people have also fallen foul of this, so I'm not the only one.

When attending there, go to the hut/club house and scan the QR code. No-one will tell you and the last time I went, the bar was unmanned and the code was located under the recess of the bar, but this may have changed.

As much as I enjoyed the food a week later I received a parking fine for £100 but if you scan the QR code in the cafe you park for free but nobody informed me of this until I went back to complain. The machine to register your NO: plate had not arrived yet. so please scan the QR code as staff neglect to tell you and your meal will be a lot more than you think.

Food is amazing very good quality. Toast is nice thick toast done to perfection.
I was cold in there as the door is always open and close.
Seats aren't the comfiest but look amazing.
Felt a bit out of place as always busy with football players as expected with location
