Fantastic puppy training classes with Sarah and Sam. Sarah has an incredible wealth of knowledge regarding dogs including behaviours and training techniques, enrichment ideas, dog equipment. We asked Sarah to come home and do some 1-1 sessions as well which we’d highly recommend.

We have just completed a 6 week puppy foundation course with Sarah and Sam, I have to say they are absolutely excellent, full of useful information and guidance inside and outside the course. Everything that has been taught is also backed up by e-mailed weekly information and course notes. Can't thank you both enough and would highly recommend for anyone with a new pup.

We cant recommend Sarah enough! She is without a doubt the best dog trainer we have ever met.

We contacted Sarah because we wanted to do 121 training with our puppy, Levi, as training is always important for puppys development, however Sarah did so much more than that. After just the FIRST hour of training we had when she came to our house, everything was different.

Not only did she help us make sure we were training correctly (with positive reinforcement at the right times), with "mat" and "sit", she demonstrated the right techniques to show Levi that "biting does not get attention and isnt how we want to interact" in a way that Levi can understand.

Within days we were able to sit together and do fun things together as a family and not worry about him deciding that our hands or feet are part of the game. He is still a puppy and still learning, but the time we spent with Sarah was invaluable.

We would definitely go with her again as its clear from the first few seconds with her that she loves doggos and loves what she does! By our third session meeting Sarah in a field, Levi was always super excited in the car when he saw where we were. She also started to teach us advanced techniques such as "spin" and "middle" and showed us the path towards loose lead walking and maybe even no lead one day (once he has perfect recall).

She also gave us lots of advice when we mentioned we were looking at doggy daycares etc. A++ You wont be disappointed if you hire sarah for help with your puppy 🙂

We contacted Sarah as soon as our Cockapoo girl (Noodle) came home to join our family. We'd already picked up a copy of Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy as we'd heard great things about the Institute of Modern Dog Training (IMDT). But having Sarah help break it down further and bring to life how to capture our puppy's attention with positive interventions and encouragement has been fabulous. So far so good, we now have a puppy that toilets outside, let's us know when she needs to go: give us amazing eye contact, sits well, spins, can do a little loose lead walking: and recalls to us most of the time 😂.

I am writing this recommendation at the beginning of the training course as I found Sarah before I had my puppy. I had a one-to-one session to ask for advice and for her to check my puppy-proofing. I can honestly say it has proved invaluable and has given me and my pup the best possible start.
I would recommend an early 1:1 and I am now starting the group course. The first session was great and has given me the confidence to continue what I started following that early session.

We have recently finished a 6 week puppy training course with Sarah. She is a great coach and we have learnt a lot which we are now practising at home with our 5 month old pup Dougie. The long lead and recall training has made us more confident taking him to public places. Sarah is happy to answer any questions and is very encouraging. We went along to puppy classes with Sarah and Sam and I really recommend them! They cover a lot in the 6 weeks and they are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable! They make each behaviour easy to understand and email you worksheets for each one to refer back to. You can also get in touch with them between classes for advice and they set up a WhatsApp for the group so you can share how your training is going between sessions and support each other. If you have kids the Hopwood venue is great as there's a playground that the kids can occupy themselves on, right next to the field.
