I am writing this review years after taking a TestCrackers course with Seth and Yuri in Berkeley. I am now four years into a dream career that would not have been possible without a strong GRE score to get into a competitive graduate program. I strongly recommend TestCrackers for test prep - they are efficient, friendly, and extremely gifted instructors.

I started the course with a 580 on the practice exam and got a 750 on the official GMAT two months later. I did the virtual course with Seth and Marty and absolutely enjoyed them and the way that TestCrackers moved through the material. I highly recommend taking advantage of the small group tutoring hours that are included with the course. You get a great understanding of all the material that the GMAT covers as well as all the tricks that help make you more efficient. Of course you have to put in time studying once the class is finished but it felt more like refining skills gained rather than learning additional methods.

I researched every test prep service in my area for months before I selected TestCrackers. They had glowing reviews but even these couldn't do justice to the incredible level of detail and attention that they put into their work. TestCrackers made a HUGE impact in the trajectory of my life. I was working with an elementary understanding of basic math, and had only one shot to take the GRE before my graduate applications were due. I took the in-person quant course and received so much more than I was expecting. I think math can be scary, but their instructors create a very safe environment in which to learn. They meet each student where they're at, and they know how to move students through the learning process. I could see my progress from week to week. Their instructors are accessible, attentive, and provide so many resources to support learning. I was particularly impressed that they were able to prepare me for the GRE in such a short amount of time, and from such a LOW baseline. With their help, I was able to land a spot at a very prestigious graduate program on my first try. It would not have happened without TestCrackers. Choosing them was one of the best decisions of my life.

This class was perfect! I’m very happy I chose TestCrackers. They gave me exactly what I needed to do well on the GRE. I got a perfect score on analytical writing, 167 on math, and a 161 on verbal which I’m sure could have been even higher if I had given myself more study time. I was really rusty on all of the material going into it. They really know how to teach efficiently and communicate what we need to know. The teachers were really nice, friendly, and nonjudgmental which really helped create a positive learning environment. A totally enjoyable and painless experience. I found the office hours really helpful. Highly recommend.

Testcrackers was absolutely amazing! Their courses increased my GMAT score by over 100 points and they made the material engaging, digestible and enjoyable! I took a GMAT prep course with TestCrackers and was very impressed. The small class sizes and weekly homework really helped for me to learn the content, and the instructors were always available to answer questions. I attended the office hours they provided as well and felt I really got my money's worth with the instruction.
