SID was recommended to me by someone I completely trusted and without hesitation I rang up, speaking to lovely and very helpful Jo and Julie. They arranged for me, as a complete novice to professional large truck driving, to come along, have a test drive, a taster if you like, to see how I got on driving a huge truck, initially with Steve, a formidable trainer.
Then after, I was provided with a quotation with a breakdown of hours, start times and duration of training followed by the days/dates that it would spread over.
I was fortunate enough to be given the greatest of training, tailored by Dave and Steve, giving me the best of chances of passing. I can honestly say that between the both of them, they have managed to turn a day to day van driver into a driver who is now at the beginning of a class 1 professional driving career having passed my test, first time, under their guidance. That is time well invested, well spent and value for money. This has been one of the best things I have ever done and is set to improve not only my pay but our family life, with massive opportunities opening up to me now that I have passed with SID.
I cannot recommend this team highly enough from the administration to the professional trainers. Do not hesitate to train with them. Utterly brilliant.

Did the novice counterbalance course with Steve, He has been really patient and a great teacher, If you want to learn how to drive a bug range of different types of machines then I would definitely recommend SID Training 👍

I attended a novice 5 day FLT course at SID training and Gaz was my trainer, his knowledge and training techniques are second to none, although challenging at firstI felt at ease all the way through , he's a funny guy, and definitely has a certain skill to get his point across, but it worked and I passed! I can't recommend him enough, thank you Gaz, keep up the good work! 👍

Excellent company to train with. From never driving a flt before my trainer Gary made me feel at ease from the very start and with his expert tuition I confidently passed the course. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Brilliant 2 day course with Gary Vaughan.
Gary was very knowledgeable and no question was too small.
We completed Figure of 8's , chicanes, bulk stacking and de- stacking and Racking work to name a few.
The power point presentation and the safety videos were very informative.
Will be booking Gary back very soon to complete further training.

Gary Vaughan (from SiDs Training) has been on our site for the last 3 days taking our training for a Reach Truck.
It has been a pleasure working with Gary. He is very professional and friendly, very easy to talk to and answered any questions we had for him with great depth. We really liked the fact his main focus first and foremost was always safety. Gary had vast knowledge and very useful tips.
I am sure we will be seeing Gary again in 3 years time for our refreshers course.

I would like to leave some positive feedback for Gary Vaughan. He went above and beyond during my PPT training. I was nervous before my training course and he really helped me to stay calm and use the best of my abilities to complete the course, with confidence. Very good training thoroughly enjoyed it. Calm trainers, but you can still have a laugh. Passed first time car to class 1. Couldn't recommend them enough.
