I am currently in my third week of the IT Support Course and have had a highly positive experience so far. The staff are warm and welcoming, creating an excellent learning environment.

Our primary lecturer, Owais Ahmed, has a fantastic teaching style. He reinforces lessons by reviewing material the next day and conducting regular informal assessments to ensure everyone understands the content.

The facilities are well-equipped, featuring dedicated classrooms, a canteen, and subsidized vending machines. Jatinder, the manager, frequently checks in with students to ensure their well-being, while Reena is always available to assist with access to course materials and resolve any issues.

Overall, it’s a well-organized and supportive academy that I would highly recommend.

Recently completed the Level 3 IT Infrastructure course with Netcom and SCC Academy. The staff here are amazing especially Owais (our trainer) and Jatinder (principal). Owais taught us in an incredible way, ensuring we all understood the material before moving onto the next. Jatinder was always there for a quick chat, keeping our motivations high!

I cannot rave about this organisation enough, the people here made us feel comfortable very fast, and genuinely want the best for you.

Keep up the amazing work guys!!

Update IT Skills with a team of qualified staff from a broad educational establishments, there is also some association with Netcom training,

Enjoy modern facilities for training needs, with experienced & understanding

Usually seat at the same pc/work station during lectures,

Prior to starting your course, everyone logs online on bksb site, for Initial test on Maths, English & IT, initial test takes half an hour each,

If your result is not minimum of level 1 standard, you can repeat & also research on google until your result is atleast level 1 standard,

Next is the Diagnostic test for Maths, English & IT, which you can complete anytime during your course, i was exhausted with one hour test for each, & IT Diagnostic took me nearly 3 hours to complete,

Our IT coursework or daily activities is managed by loging onto Microsoft Teams, end of the day you fill in a separate daily log with a short one line description of the days work,

Training also requires daily use of Powerpoint slides to explain a question or topic, & you must email yourself or use usb drive or online onedrive to save your powerpoint files on daily basis,

Best practice is to restart your pc/workstation before loging in or attempting to login as a different user, otherwise you may experience lost work,

Training also requires people to be separated into groups, to research online and produce powerpoint slides, and every member of the group gets a chance to read the slides when presented on the huge TV screen, each group is given a usb drive & the Powerpoint slides are saved from PC onto a usb drive using Group Number as your file,

We have a test or quiz every Monday, based on multiple choice, the question is on the huge TV screen, and the multiple choice is on your pc screen, as soon as you click your answer with a mouse, it reveals a positive or negative gesture, and you cant change your answer,

Also on the huge TV screen, it reveals who answered quickest or correctly, & if any one is answering correctly continuously,

End of test, list of top 3 scorers is revealed on TV screen,

Assignment or homework is given daily for short research, that can be done with googling online,

The people doing the course come on time and are mostly friendly, and also helpful if you are sitting next to someone, and not familiar with using computer or Microsoft software,

During training you get 2 or 3 breaks, short break is 10mins each, & lunch break is 30mins,

Theres indoor vending machine for subsidised hot drinks, and if you dont bring food from home, theres two vending machines for sandwhiches (some are halal) and usual crisps and chocolates,

Theres nearby shops across the road, but it can be busy traffic at times,

You can do Level 2 or Level 3 IT related courses, for level 3 theres exams, but not for level 2.

Go up
