Bertie and I have just completed the puppy class and it was fantastic. We will miss the class each week. The support and knowledge Scott shared, both in and out of class truly changed our lives. Being a first time dog owner, knowing how to handle things like nipping and jumping up all with reward based methods is brilliant. Scott and Jo were amazing every week and I would recommend this course to everyone who has a puppy. We look forward to doing the bronze course.

We have completed the puppy course and are currently on the Bronze Course with our Border Terrier puppy Ted. We are first time dog owners, and Scamp's have really been a godsend. Scott & Jo are both brilliant and super supportive, using only positive reinforcement methods.

Scott has helped us overcome so many hurdles with Ted. He's helped us understand his behaviours and taught us the best methods to communicate what we want to Ted.

As a tiny puppy Ted would chase and bite our ankles whenever we moved, but with Scott's advice he'd stopped in a couple of days. The 'leave' command has been brilliant for us, and also using 'settle' as our pup gets very excited.

We're currently working on loose lead walking and everything Scott has shown us so far has been working a treat. We're looking forward to seeing how Ted continues to grow under Scamp's guidance.

Scamps was recommended to us by a friend, and we have since completed the puppy and bronze course. Scott is just brilliant, so knowledgable and passionate about dogs! The sessions were the highlight of my week, Scott doesn’t just teach the ‘how’, he teaches the ‘why’, which makes it so much easier to understand. He even took the time out of his day to come over to our house to help with a separate training issue, which we’re extremely grateful for. Thank you Scott and Jo!

Deffo recommend scamps Scott and Jo are absolutely brilliant cant thank them enough. Did the 6 week puppy course with my nervous cockapoo who is now 5months old. Nala was anxious around new people especially men and would constantly bark then hide behind me. Going to the puppy class every Sunday was really helpful and learnt alot all thanks to Scott and Jo. After finishing the course I can now take nala a walk off lead with out her getting anxious and barking at men etc.

I completed Puppy and Bronze training courses with Scamps in 2023/24, with my young working cocker spaniel. The experience was wonderful from start to finish - Scott is extremely knowledgeable, supportive and incredible with all the dogs! Each session is worth well more than it’s 60 minutes and Scott provides so much invaluable advice on the theory behind the training and how we are motivating the dogs by positive reinforcement rather than discipline. Worth every penny and more!
I also had an extra 1-2-1 at home session to focus more on problem behaviours at home, and this again was a really useful experience, with targeted advice and support that has completely changed our dogs’ behaviour at home!

Amazingly positive and informative training class. All reward based training and even after being dog owners for more than 15 years we learnt so much. Not only the practical side of things but also understanding how your dog thinks. Scott is very engaging and brilliant at what he does, every single dog loves him and Jo is the friendliest person you will meet. Both so supportive. Thank you for helping us to train Pixie, she really is our ideal family pet, thanks to your guidance!

We have completed both puppy class and bronze class at scamps. Both were brilliant. Scott is very knowledgeable and a natural with the dogs. We called him the dog whisperer as he could get them to do anything! He teaches you the correct way to train your dog all on a good reward/treat basis. Our cocker spaniel learned to walk on a loose lead within a week which is amazing especially for cockers. Scott explains everything in why we do something the way he teaches and it all makes sense. If you are consistent the results are quick and amazing. We highly recommend Scott and will be going on to do silver and scent work classes.

Absolutely fantastic experience on the Puppy training for our 13 week old border terrier.
Scott's way of training dogs is definitely the one I can fully identify myself with, using positive rewards to train and make your dog wanting to work with you.

His knowledge of why a dog behaves in certain ways and why certain training methods work and how they work is incredibly helpful.
He gives the best insight of 'thinking the way your dog does' and also explains how some of his behaviors are caused from certain biological factors.

He really took his time teaching me and showing me how to work with the dog and even after the session he send an incredibly detail report and to dos as well as training instructions and videos.

I am currently on the waiting list for puppy courses and highly recommend booking Scott in if you have a puppy, new dog or a difficult dog. I am sure he can help 🙂
