As someone who attends this school (year 8), there is a lot of bullying issues. I got bullied a lot in year 7, Miss Green barely batted an eyelid. But as soon as I show up late, I get reprimanded and not the people who bully others? The teachers all have backwards logic and it confuses me. I will hope and pray that my parents let me change schools. But for now, I will have to wait until these 6 weeks of peace and freedom are over and return back to what is essentially the British equivalent of a gulag.
Edit: so it’s November now. I’m still getting bullied, I’ve gone to Mrs Ali although minimal work has been done. I’ve also been put in the same timetable that my previous bullies are in, even sat next to one of them. It just goes to show how negligent this school is and takes no accountability. I’ve seen some of the other reviews and apparently another girl has been threatened with a stabbing and had her tooth fixed? Whoever that girl is, I send my hopes and prayers. All in all, a place has never made me want to kill myself more times than I can count. I’ve ran home crying countless times too. Good times.
Edit 2: So Ofsted are coming into the school tomorrow. I can’t wait to tell them of all the wrongdoings of this school and how utterly negligent they are

DO NOT GO HERE my daughter has been bullied for years here and the head won't do anything except say girls will be girls, the teachers have attitude when file a complaint against one of their own. filled a formal complaint to be told it didn't warrant investigation even though the teacher told my daughter it doesn't matter what school she goes she will still get bullied. Another one got in her face accusing her of being a bully. Told them I put a complaint into ofsted to be met with a shrug of the shoulders and that it doesn't matter, and was also told all my issues was my opinion no one else's. Beg to differ looking at what's been on social media over the last few days and the list of 1 star reviews, the only person fighting for my daughter and checking in with her is her head of year. He's doing a better job at safeguarding and looking out for my daughter than any of the teachers at that school. My daughters had her tooth broken and had to have cosmetic surgery to fix it but even that didn't warrant as bullying nether did threatening to be stabbed either though so I'm not sure what the head or deputy head would actually class as bullying in their heads especially since they prefer protecting their teachers instead of their students. Do not send your kids here it's unsafe!!!!

Overall I would say it's a good school most of the teachers here are okay the only problem I have is that there has been a lot of complaints about bullying lately. Its an amazing school though and most of the teachers especially miss O'Reilly are amazing

Absolute disgrace of a school!
Bullying in that school is at an alarming level won’t protect your child if they’re the victim of the abuse but the bully oh will go above and beyond for! Duty of care don’t got any to the children or the parents.i wouldn’t trust the school with a gold fish never mind a child. If your thinking of sending your child here do yourself a favour don’t do it not worth it the school is a mess the teachers are all jokers!!

Do not recommend this school teacher lie and cover up incidents to make themselves look good. Don’t take bullying seriously, lie when there are witnesses and cover up the truth. Teacher are not professional at all only care about themselves a and the reputation of the school and not the safety and well-being of students.

Do not recommend this school at all bullying and safeguarding is a big issue at this school. Staffs actions are questionable. Just making sure the local community are aware of this as childrens safety and mental health should be prioritised but is not at this school unfortunately.
