Fascinating museum of old aircraft, and more. I’m not particularly a fan of military stuff but this museum is excellent in its displays, and always old war history feeds into social history. Considering the whole place is free apart from parking it’s a great day out. We couldn’t finish it but as we’re not too far, will definitely return. It’s a great day out.

We had a great time seeing the planes, tanks , missiles and tons of other exhibits at RAF Cosford.
The entry is free but I would encourage you to donate or make a purchase in the shop/cafe.

What a fantastic day out for all the family at Cosford Air Show. The museum by its self is well worth a visit. The air show is the highlight of the year. There’s so much to see and do, as well as watching the fantastic flying displays. Only adults pay (£40.00) but children under 16yrs are free. As is the parking. The food vendors were catered for all tastes, and the prices not over expensive. We brought our camping chairs and had a lovely picnic near the runway. All in all a fantastic family day out. You do however need to get there early for the best spot, and avoid the queues. A great family experience when ever you go.

Great day out. Educational for everyone plenty to see and do. Park outside for the kids. Free entry fee £7.50 for all day parking. Picnic benches to rake own food and drink. There is cafes and shops inside and toilet facilities and drinking fountain. Gift shop inside fairly priced. Love that they have a card penny press.

These toilets are extremely dangerous and can swallow a man whole. I know this as a fact because the last time I saw a toilet like this was in Germany when a young man fell in one and disappeared while his girlfriend was waiting for him in their campervan. I'm guessing by the way she was dressed that they were going to a fancy restaurant for dinner. Very sad.

Amazing place..Booked an entry time online where you get sent a email with bar code on it which they scan on the way inside museum..set fee for parking of £7.50 but the museum is free..absolute bargain.
All staff polite and friendly and at hand if you need any help. Easy to find your way round this amazing exhibition of aircraft through the years..Brought back some fond memories of seeing some of these planes fly at airshows when i was a kid..
Especially the English electric lightning and the vulken bomber..
Always remember the awesome noise the lightning made going vertical..made my day.
Plenty of description placks on all the aircraft giving plenty of information. It's amazing how they fit in all the show planes with some hanging way up above and at different angles..
Place was spotless and would deffinatly recommend a visit..

We went with some friends who were visiting from Yorkshire. I had been before. However, my partner hadn't. He loves planes and can see the Lancaster go over our house. Sometimes, he loves it. Only £7.50 on the day for parking, no entrance fee. Had a fantastic time. The horrible history's trail was good for the children. You paid for that separately. We saw and read so much lots to take in. Would definitely go again x
