We have got all 3 of our labs from Poolehall - the first 15 years ago and the 3rd just a week ago. They have all been the most wonderful dogs. Jane and Charlotte were amazing and helpful throughout. We would never get a lab from anywhere else.

My name is Jon, I served in the British Army and was Injured whilst Serving in Basra, Iraq. I was subsequently Medically discharged from the Army with physical injuries and combat PTSD. Treatment has been hard and without any real progress but a few years ago a friend explained how a service dog helps him after his medical discharge. I looked into it and was let down by multiple Veteran charities and at that point years had passed, nightmares were constant, flashbacks destroyed my waking life and It became apparent I would have to train my own service dog. I researched, saved and taught myself how to train for a long time until the day finally came when I found Charl at PoolHall Labradors. She was so kind and supportive, and was always at the end of the phone when I needed her. Throughout my learning I understood the ENORMOUS difference it would make to have a puppy with the right lineage, bred from proven parents instead of just handing money to someone online for a puppy born from a house pet. The demand for such amazing dogs from Poolhall is deserved. They have a drive and passion that shines through.
Charl was there every step and looking back at our messages, every time we spoke she was SO supportive, as she was aware of what I'd been through and why I was getting this puppy.
Charl let me know that no matter how long it took, my name would be on the list of every litter they had until I was able to take the right puppy home!
I can't thank them enough, It's strange to think that I am essentially a 'customer' to Poolhall but I don't feel that way. I KNOW there is genuine care there and with everyone I met, it wasn't for show, it's who they are.
As you would expect from such an accomplished, accredited breeder, everything is wonderful, the dogs, the puppies parents, the environment they are in, the socialisation they have with adults, children and all the other animal they are close to.
The service is just so above and beyond, there was a genuine feeling of loss that the support I'd received from so many messages and calls between Poolhall and myself, was going to end when I picked up my puppy who I've named Major, and BOY was I wrong. You expect a breeder to say "we'd love to see how they get on" but I just thought because of my experience elsewhere that was just a 'line' they say. NOT at Poolhall Labradors!
They want to know how Major is doing and after sending photos and videos, the response's are like: AMAZING, keep them coming!
I won the life lottery finding Poolhall Labradors and Major has service work in his bones, made apparent by how well and how quickly he's learning. He and I are becoming an amazing team, and the quality of my life will improve drastically!
I'll have him to focus on so I can go outside by myself, he'll focus my attention so I'm not constantly worried about getting shot, having him pull me out of horrific flashbacks that drain everything out of me and to wake me from nightmares.
No amount of 1 on 1 therapy will ever come close to how much Major is going to save my life and give me a sense of independence again.
I am in debt to Poolhall Labradors for their unwavering commitment to what they do, how far above and beyond they go, and for the continued support I receive from them.
I feel as though I am part of something special and I feel I have a responsibility to help anyone that isn't sure or wants to do some research into how they are with people, I feel I need to write this to show others just how amazing they are. We bought Frankie sept 2024. Charlotte and Jane are so lovely felt really comfortable buying a puppy from them. They showed us both the mom and dad and you can tell there from a lovely family home.
Frank has bought us so much laughter back into our home after we lost our beautiful choccy lab in Feb. He's made the house feel alive again.
I would recommend anyone to buy a puppy from them. The puppies are bought up around young children.
Charlotte and Jane thank you so much for your expertise and professionalism.
When we took Frank to have his 2nd lot of vaccinations the vet was so impressed with the paperwork that came with him she wished every dog she saw came with that. Just goes to show what good breeders they are.

We are so happy with Maisie, she joined us just over 3 months ago and was clean in the house from day one and sleeping through the night not long after. Maisie is gorgeous and so friendly to every person and dog she meets, not over the top. Everybody adores her. She is learning quickly what is right and wrong and her recall is excellent. Maisie is our third chocolate lab from Jane and family, we wouldn’t go anywhere else, wonderful dogs from wonderful people, thank you so much.

We recently got our newest family member from poolehall and it was a lovely experience from start to finish.
We spoke with Charlotte and Jane and they were both so friendly and helpful. We received photos of him and all medical/ important updates throughout the whole time, the amount of help and information you get is amazing.
They take this very seriously in all the best ways, they have given him the best start in his life and we will always be great full for this, as I’m sure he is too.
We would 100000% recommend them if anyone was thinking of expanding there family with a little fur baby.

3 years ago we came to Poolehall for a chocolate lab that had unfortunately been returned due to an issue with with his new family. We arrived to look at a puppy and left with a new family member 💙 & what a stunning boy he is! He is the perfect family dog, he is amazing with our 2 very young children but loves a cuddle, love and a good play fight ☺️

We bought our chocolate Labrador puppy from Jane at Poole Hall Labradors a few weeks ago. The puppies were all so happy and friendly it was almost impossible to choose. Jane was a great help, sending update emails and photos frequently and was also very thorough with the handover which has really helped our puppy settle in. I would absolutely recommend Poole Hall to anyone who is looking for a perfect addition to the family.
