Can’t say enough good things about this place! They are truly amazing. The facility is huge. Big pond for dog to swim. They even have a small pool in the small dog section. They have great accommodation for humans to rocking chairs hammock tree swing. They have tons of balls and launchers to throw the balls big to ring. They even have a nature walk that leads to an open field, where they have covered seating for humans with rocking chairs, fans, and misters. Lastly, I love that they have a human restroom when the office is open if you do the monthly pass it’s equivalent to two day passes so it’s a no-brainer and you can scan in even if the office is closed. There’s a vet facility in a grooming facility inside the building and they’re boarding area is huge with indoor and outdoor space. If you haven’t checked it out and you own a dog I highly recommend making time to drive out there and give it a shot so much fun. Oh yeah, they also have areas for you to wash your dog to lend you a towel if you need one, but if you do go, make sure you’re dressed to get Sandy and dirty it’s so much fun

I’m going to give a one star for this park. We went there the other day because Jacksonville doesn’t seem to have a good dog park and we went to see this one only to find out that my dog is not even welcomed in that park.
According to their many rules your dog has to be fixed. Otherwise the dog is not allowed in the park. Your dog also needs to get six or seven shots before he or she can be in the park mingling with other dogs which I’m super not ok with.
When we were there there were small dogs and big dogs in the same fenced in area without leashes and I’m not comfortable with that but that’s preference of the owner if they are not scared of something happening to their small dogs by the big dogs.
We saw about five I think fenced in areas there. The very first one has a small lake inside of it where dogs can jump in and cool off.
Again that’s a preference if you like your dog coming home with you super dirty in your car.
I was thinking that even if we were accepted into this Park I would not feel comfortable letting my dog loose and go without a leash because he’s very tiny and easily can fall into that lake or get under other big dogs and I’m not comfortable with that.
So no, this park isn’t for us and it’s also far.

This is the best dog park around. There is so much room for a dog to really get to run. The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. If I could give 10stars it still wouldn’t be enough

This is a great place to exercise your dog and even do a little training. Large running area in the back with a little nature walk leading from the front to the back. Tennis balls everywhere with the launchers. And of course the water area being a favorite when it's hot out! 90% of the dogs are good but I have had to ask someone to get their dog away from mine as it was being too aggressive.

My dogs had a great time at this park. The staff was very kind, welcoming and helpful. The lobby is clean and beautiful. I love that there is a dog washing station and it’s elevated with steps for the dogs so we didn’t have to bend over to wash them, I really appreciate that. The pond is so awesome. Such a nice place!

Poochie’s is our favorite place to take our dog! The staff are always helpful and the place is usually pretty clean. Our dog LOVES the pond to swim in and we really enjoy the fenced in trail and field in the back. Toys, trash bags, trash cans, and water are always available for your dogs. It’s very affordable and worth the money! We boarded our dog there for a week once and it seemed to go great. My favorite is the holiday decor and thoughtfulness of events and activities that they provide regularly. We love Poochie’s!

My boyfriend and I came for a tour of the grounds. As well as to gain a comfort of the staff before bringing our fur babies. Poochies Park has much more than I had expected personally. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness. The clean aroma hits you as soon as you walk in. As we walked through, the guide showed us the different areas. I like that the smaller dogs are sectioned off for safety. The pond is a great idea as well in the larger area. Then to find they have a trail and a wide open field for them as well, made me even more comfortable. All fenced in with every area. I love the fact all dogs must be vaccinated and up to date. I would hate for my babies to get something from another dog. Finishing our tour was the standard and private rooms. My babies can have a room together for comfort šŸ™‚ They were clean and well tended to. The staff is very friendly as well. I look forward to bringing my babies here. It’s more like a vacation from regular life for them.
