I started dance at a very young age. And I got the pleasure of getting Miss Lanie as one of my dance teachers. When she finally decided to open up her own dance studio, I followed! I wouldn't have imagined doing dance with anybody else and I enjoyed all the years and all the experiences I had. Now I get to experience my kids going through the same thing! And so excited for the years to come.

2nd year in a row my daughter (5 ) has been with Lanie’s dance studio and it’s the best! feels like family, and they truly make every class fun and engaging for all ages! My daughter is also in nutcracker 2nd year and it’s her favorite thing to look forward to! She looks up to the older ballerinas, always in awe watching them dance and loves how welcoming and cheerful each time she enters the room! it’s truly amazing seeing how these girls and boys once started at my daughters age, which makes me so excited to watch her grow on stage in the years to come! Highly recommend this studio!!!

I scheduled a trial of the acrojam class for my 9 year old and was immediately blown away by the professionalism and welcoming energy radiating from the studio! Every face we encountered was friendly and eager to help the new-comers. I love being able to watch my daughter’s class through their closed circuit televisions! My daughter’s instructors made her feel welcome and comfortable, so much so that she decided that was the class for her right then and there! We are so excited to join the family atmosphere Miss M’Lanie and her staff have created here!

We came across M’Lanie Hunter Dance Academy after searching online for local dance classes for our toddler. I messaged them on Facebook and was contacted by the owner very quickly to set to a trial class. My husband and I were very pleased with the staff and how friendly they were. I was also impressed with the amount of classes they offer especially for preschool age children. After we had our trial first class we immediately signed up our daughter up. We look forward to our future here and are very excited to see our daughter love dance so much already!

It was a bland Friday afternoon and I was in search of a shoe that would spice up my life. You know, put a little zing in my step. I sauntered into M’Lanie Hunter Dance hoping that my search for the perfect ballroom shoe would finally be over. After all, her studio had come highly recommended. Miss Lanie, the owner, much like the Grand Duke was helpful and knowledgeable as she fitted me for the perfect shoe, enthusiastic about finding the right match. Thankfully, I was more like Cinderella and less like her evil stepsisters so the shoe was mine. Before long I was gliding out of the studio, Satin Paola in tow, extremely grateful to return for another opportunity to reclaim the proverbial ‘glass slipper’. However, it was more than that. Miss Lanie was so kind and welcoming that it was as if I hadn’t spent any money at all. It felt more like I had been given a pair of shoes for free. Ten out of ten, I highly recommend.

M’Lanie Hunter Dance has been a home to me throughout my childhood, growing up and learning to love dance. Having danced here for years, I’ve gained the knowledge, confidence, and the friendships that will last a lifetime. Dancing here was such a positive experience, having the support from fellow dancers, teachers, and of course, Miss Lanie, truly allowing me to thrive as a dancer. Now, with a degree in dance, I am able to bring that same joy into my classes as a teacher here! This really is an amazing place with a positive, family-friendly environment.
