I hire people as part of my role. I won't be using Lords.

The reason is that recently one of Lord's account directors approached me out of the blue saying he's a "headhunter", asking if I was interested in some role. Wasted a fair amount of my time, then failed to get back to me and ignored my follow-up calls.

I have no problem with not being selected, but for the "headhunter" to drop the communication is extremely rude and deeply unprofessional.

From my hiring side - I hire people, not products. I have no time for agents who sweep away courtesy in pursuit of the bottom line.
Hopefully they will improve.

If I had to describe Lord S&S in three words, they would be SOPHISTICATED , EXPERT AND BENEVOLENT. My experience of working with Sarah Longbottom and Lord team was outstanding. This is one of the most unprofessional recruitment agencies I have ever dealt with. I have used agencies throughout my career both as client and candidate. The can not even check to see if my name is on their automated responses, never return calls. First time I have encountered such poor professionals standards. Would not recommend to client or candidate.
