I am a seasoned conflict reporter, and I've done HEFAT (Hostile Environment First Aid Awareness Training) since 2007. Eventually, I moved to Britain, and before I travelled to cover Armenia's armed conflict, I needed to do a refresher. Working with Andy (the instructor) and Ian (the director) has been excellent; many may have the knowledge one would need to stay alive in a hostile environment whilst reporting, but only a few may be blessed with an understanding of how to share that knowledge. HET Ltd personnel have nurtured the ability to share that knowledge effectively and professionally, and I assure anyone of my colleagues that. I have strongly recommended this course to all of my students and colleagues, and I will continue to do so.
At the end of May 2022, I visited HET Ltd to observe and participate in one day of training on how to spot and stay safe from landmines and how to spot and stay safe from a kidnapper; to cut to the chase, don't miss this course; it will help you stay alive.

Just a phenomenal experience all-round with some true professionals. Andy, the instructor, is simply a font of knowledge in every sense and someone I could sit in a classroom with and learn from for weeks.
