Our daughter has been attending this class in Amersham since it started . As well as attending in Beaconsfield on other days. They’re fantastic classes and trainers, teaching students fitness, respect and other important life skills, alongside Kickboxing. Most importantly she always leaves energised and full of enthusiasm for her next class. Trainers like Matt & Trevor are amazing with the kids, full of personality, promoting the right attitude and always keeping things fun and professional. They've supported our daughter through 4 years of training, achieving grades, certificates, medals, trophies and most importantly, self-esteem. Her progress has been remarkable under thier steady tutoring. I couldn’t rate Genesis martial arts more highly and we'll be enrolling our youngest as soon as possible too!

Matt trained me when i was fighting competitively many years ago and more recently. For the last 5 years I have attended his evening classes in Beaconsfield and Amersham. Matt is a brilliant instructor who gets the best out of people at the level they present at. I trained with Matt when i was fighting fit and also after coming back from injury, surgery and having children. He adapted the training and I knew i would be well looked after. Fitness is very important but so now is being able to function in my day to day life! I enjoy matts sessions and know that I will continue to be challenged and progress.

I have been to other organisations and martial arts training and they haven't been as good. Genesis is a very professional organisation and all the instructors are experienced and knowledgeable. There's a clear syslabus on the website so it's clear how to achieve each belt. Belts are earnt by skill and practice not by time or just given away.
My children also attend the children's classes and they love them. Thank you for very much for your ongoing support. Hopefully i will train for another 20 years!

I have been attending this club for around 18 months and after trying a few in the area this is by far the best experience i have had. Both the tutors and the students have all been accommodating, encouraging and professional. I have leant a lot, felt my fitness and flexibility increase, and had a lot of fun. I am now relocating for work so unfortunately have to start again somewhere else, i only wish i could take this club with me. Cheers

My sons and I have been attending Matt Jackson’s kickboxing classes in Amersham and Beaconsfield for approximately 2 years and having seen numerous lessons I wanted to make some observations.

Firstly, the classes are always enjoyable. The students are highly motivated in each class which I guess is due to the energy Matt brings but also due to variety. Each class builds on previous tuition but challenges the students both physically and mentally. Boring ,repetitive sessions never happen and what is taught always has a practical application in mind. Unlike some martial arts classes, the students never stand around waiting for ‘their turn'; all students are constantly active which allows their technique to progress faster and the same with their fitness levels.

Sparring is a regular feature of the class which the students love. It is always very closely monitored, it is safe and allows the students to apply what they have learnt in a real situation.

All of the students regardless of age are always very well behaved. Matt gets the group to have discipline in a kind and balanced way. And if someone does behave in an inappropriate way Matt brings them back in line in a way that does not humiliate or damage confidence, always with a smile and a positive comment to end with.

I believe the coaching is of a very high technical standard and gives the students the platform to go a long way in this sport, should they wish to. Genesis is very professional and well organised, and Matt’s experience in teaching and in competing gives me the confidence that my children are receiving the best possible tuition without question.

I have no hesitation in recommending Matt Jackson and Genesis Martial Arts. My children love the classes, which appears to be a common theme amongst Matt’s students.

This is a fantastic kickboxing school and I would highly recommend it. Matt is great teacher and really good with all the kids. My teenage daughter took up kickboxing a year ago and loves the classes.
