Frozen Ropes in Chester was a place I was trying to bring my Softball Organization to for years. We are from Canada and COVID prevented us from attending Frozen Ropes tournament for a few years now. Black Bears Girls Youth Softball has been partnered with Frozen Ropes for over 4 yrs now. I cannot express enough how fortunate we are to be associated with Frozen Ropes and Tony Abbatine and his team. If you’re wanting to change the direction of your program or child. I strongly recommend reaching out to Tony and his team. They are first class in what they do. Sincerely, Rob Moore President Black Bears Girls Youth Softball

Highly recommend Frozen Ropes for baseball training, coaching, development and camps. The coaches and staff are skilled, enthusiastic and encouraging to the kids. They have created an environment that makes everyone feel welcome. They learn each child’s needs and will tailor the training to develop the child’s weaknesses into strengths. My son has attended classes, private lessons, camps & even plays on their travel team now. Anytime he has a day off from school, he chooses Frozen Ropes to get additional training and development. You can’t ask for a better facility, program or coaches. I highly recommend if your child loves baseball or softball, check out Frozen Ropes today. They also have some amazing partnership opportunities for your Little League Communities. They offer programs for the Little Leagues for training, development and evaluations. Frozen Ropes is nothing short of an amazing.

My 7-year-old son has been attending Frozen Ropes in Chester, NY, for several months now, and the improvement in his baseball skills has been remarkable! He has had multiple private lessons, and the progress he’s made is truly noticeable. The coaches are incredibly patient and skilled at working with young children, making each lesson both educational and enjoyable. One of the best parts of our experience has been his participation in one of their travel teams. The team environment has not only helped him develop his skills further but also taught him the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. He looks forward to every practice and game. Additionally, my son attended their baseball summer camp, which was a fantastic experience. The camp was well-organized, with a perfect balance of skill development and fun activities. He made new friends and came home every day eager to share what he had learned. The staff at Frozen Ropes are always friendly and supportive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both children and parents. The facility is top-notch, with excellent equipment and plenty of space for training. Overall, I highly recommend Frozen Ropes for any young aspiring baseball or softball player. The positive impact it has had on my son’s skills and confidence is invaluable. We are thrilled to be part of the Frozen Ropes community and look forward to many more great experiences!

This review is based on the food. The mozzarella stick weren't great at all. They didn't even had the sauce for it. The "grandma cookies" date was expired. The facility was great and we did receive a warm welcome.

We have been to Frozen Ropes for 3 different tournaments. I am completely disappointed with this venue. We have had issues with everything there from the kitchen breaking down (and they don’t let you bring in outside food), the bathrooms are disgusting, and the umps are not the best (considering what we pay for). Today we are here and it is 95 degrees outside. There is no AC inside and the floors are sweating and girls keep slipping and falling on the floors in their cleats. It is oppressively hot inside where the teams are expected to warm up. It rained this morning so there are only the turf fields and there’s nowhere to watch except from up top. The walkway to get up top isn’t paved and people wheeling things up to the top are struggling to get stuff up there. Forget anyone who has trouble walking trying to get up. Tell your older loved ones to not even bother. There’s no shade to escape the blistering sun except for the dugouts. But there’s also no way to pass cold water to the players who are playing in the back turf fields. Our bracket today had a 3 HOUR wait time between games. When you have teams traveling from an hour away, it’s not really fair to space the games out so much and then expect the kids to just hang around in a non air conditioned space for 3 hours waiting for their next game after getting there at 7:00 in the morning. Some more thought in the process would be nice. For a venue that boasts being a “sports park” it’s lacking.

Frozen Ropes is the place to train whether your son or daughter is a beginner learning the fundamentals of the game, or an experienced athlete looking for stand-out instruction to take them from average to college bound. Teaching goes beyond physical drills with emphasis on increasing players’ mental strength during practice and game time. Knowledgeable and friendly softball and baseball coaches for all age groups!

Went to Frozen Ropes NYC on a whim this past spring after my son struggled at his high school tryout. The facility was awesome and was close to major airports. The education we received transformed both of our lives. It has been a fantastic investment in my sons journey in baseball.
