Enjoyed another talk about art last night at Dry Water, it was so interesting. As is everything, they do there. Francis and Paula have between them amassed a world of art dance music yoga and craft and brought it to Amble in the Dry Water Arts Centre, a warm, bright and welcoming space. The reception is always friendly, encouraging and supportive and I've met some lovely people there whom I now call friends.
Would definitely recommend a visit.

Whilst on holiday in Amble we attended two art classes at the Dry Water Arts centre. Both classes were excellent, we learnt lots of new skills & techniques. Francis the tutor was fabulous and everybody was really welcoming. Easy to book on line. Highly recommended!

Dry Water Arts Centre is a warm, inclusive, well run centre with an excellent and varied programme and a friendly community feel. I’ve been to lots of great events there, including art workshops, Kin Club, live music, talks, yoga, dance, and exhibitions. Highly recommended.

Drywater Arts in Amble is one of those places you stumble across and once experienced never forgotten! It’s unique. I’m currently making a weekly round trip of nearly 50 miles to attend 2 groups, Chair Flair Yoga and Bodywise. Both are so enjoyable and such good fun! Paula has always made me feel very welcome and her excellent interpersonal skills combined with good teaching make her a superb tutor. It’s a very inspiring worthwhile experience for me and the perfect exercise since I’ve become less mobile.

Haven’t yet done any of the art classes but hope to do so in future. Do give Drywater Arts a try: you’ll be glad you did!

This is a fantastic project. I drive from Newcastle most weeks to do an Art Journalling class and a water colour class. I have no experience of either, but have learned so much in a really friendly, supportive environment. The extra sessions of music and poetry, as well as one off workshops have all been fabulous.

Paula’s yoga sessions are exceptional. No matter whether you have done any yoga before or not she will make you feel welcomed, relaxed and at home. After all of her sessions you will feel completely peaceful but invigorated and looking forward to her next session. So very lucky to have someone of her knowledge, experience and inclusivity practising in our area.
