Having a driving test fail is one thing and having a constructive explanations as to why you failed, could be a game changer. That was what I got with Leon, although I wasn't assigned to him on my subsequent test, but his explanations after the fail, made the difference. When I returned for the next test, I passed.

Also, on my pass day, the examiner Derrick was so so amazing, he made sure I was relaxed and his conversations before we entered the car, practically reduced all the nervousness I had prior to arriving at the test center and that boosted my composure.

Do I want to take a special appreciation to Derrick and Leon, you guys have been so fantastic and professional while discharging your duties. I don't know if yous would get to read this, but know that I AM VERY GRATEFUL for people like yous.

I would like to share my experience. I have been driving for many years and had an international driving license, but it has expired. I had to start from scratch in the UK. I passed the theory test on my first attempt, but I never expected to fail my driving test. In fact, I managed to pass only on my fourth attempt. I can compare different driving test centers. Without naming them, I had a feeling that some centers made me fail somehow, but I can't say that about the Alnwick center. In fact, I failed here once, but it was completely my fault. There was a situation on a slip road where I had to join a road with a lane closed due to roadwork, and drivers didn't let me in easily. Despite failing, I had a good experience, and when I came back for the test, I passed. I want to say a special thanks to Leon. He is very professional and put me at ease. I can say for sure that he judged fairly, and if his boss reads this feedback, he should give him a financial bonus and extra paid holidays. I wish all examiners were like Leon - friendly, professional, and fair!
