Drama Kids Acomb

A fantastic group that does amazing work. My son has been attending for nearly two years and his (already brilliantly bonkers) imagination, his creativity and his confidence have all seen a wonderful development. After every class he comes out beaming and tells me all about it. He looks forward to his performances, can't wait for any dressing up or bring a friend days and has made some great new friends in the class as well. The teachers are always ace! Caryn and Kierens magnificent personalities definitely bring out the best in the children's imagination and confidence. Caryn has been particularly wonderful since my son began and you can tell the entire team really love what they are doing. It's brilliant. No pressure is ever put on the children to perform or have lines, so when the shows are put on for us parents, I've yet to see a child not having fun. And in the time my boy's been going, he's gone from preferring no lines and squeezing out just the one, to wanting more lines and really playing up his character. It's been ace to see that transition and he's been very proud of every one of his achievements too. I've had positive feedback from his teachers at school about how it has impacted on his confidence there even; and it's not like he was shy before. So that's pretty impressive in my book. I really cannot recommend enough.

My child has had a fantastic couple of years at Drama Kids. The teachers bring so much energy to the classes and there is a huge focus on the kids being involved in ideas and dialogue. My child’s teacher says she can see the confidence the classes have given, as she has no problems with public speaking. The end of term has a production, which is fantastic to watch. Highly recommend these classes to anyone interested in a drama class for lower primary onwards.

My daughter loves Drama Kids, she is now in her 5th term and her confidence and acting ability are soaring. It’s a friendly and inclusive environment where the kids can have lots of fun but there are no expectations. The end of year productions are wonderful.

I can not recommend Drama Kids highly enough, my daughter has been going for a couple of years now, she has additional needs and this group is relaxed, fun, and all inclusive. My daughter loves singing dancing and play role acting so Drama kids is exactly the right fit for her.

Both of my children have loved being part of Drama kids and it has really boosted their self confidence. I love that each child is individually valued and the emphasis is on having fun and expressing creativity.

Thanks Caryn and Lyndsey. Caryn, you deliver fabulously intuitive sessions. Drawing out the talent and nurturing confidence and self respect. You seem to know how to steer the outwardly confident, and boisterous, to be more than they think they can be and gain greater self control and purpose; whilst drawing out the less confident, so that they can push through their doors and bloom brightly. Thank you both for committing to your place in my child's development. My son spent many happy and rewarding years with you.

The Helen O'Grady drama classes are so beneficial for any child. I would highly recommend. Jon has been amazing and really understands how to bring the best out in the children with fun, while learning. It was six year's of joy for my daughter and I can't thank Jon and Caryn enough!!!

My daughter says "It's fun, it helps to build up your confidence with saying things on your own, like you start out shy and then you get really confident and you get to work with lots of different people so it teaches you how to get on with different people. John my teacher is very funny." She always goes in smiling and bounces out smiling, it's fast paced with a different theme each week so no chance of getting bored.
