Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner. Stayed in a king superior suite. Check in was smooth, parked on the road outside the hotel as this is free with plenty of space. Room was at complete other end of reception so a bit of a walk. Room really clean and spacious. Updated and well kept. Everything we needed we had, coffee machine, robes etc. Made use of the gym which is decent for a hotel gym. Pool and spa area is nice, could maybe do with a little update. Staff friendly. Food quite expensive. Overall a lovely stay and would return

We had a day room booked 9am-6pm. Robin on reception was extremely welcoming. Due to the busy nature of the weekend our room wasn’t quite ready at 9am upon our arrival, so Robin offered us a complimentary breakfast. It was super kind of him and we had a lovely breakfast. All the staff were extremely friendly. At 10am our room was ready, which was perfect timing as we had just finished our breakfast. Overall, a lovely hotel.

The first thing they said when we arrived was to ask for £8 for the overnight parking. I had booked over the phone and this was not mentioned as an extra cost, adding a considerable percentage on top of the original booking fee I was quoted (and prepaid for). Had I known this, I would have probably gone elsewhere. (I refused to pay and after much argument, they waived this). This was not a good start! They allow dogs (which is a plus) but charge an extortionate £35 for this without actually offering any canine hospitality, not so much as a single dog treat! The hotel is heated with air source heat pumps (which we could see from our window) but the night was very cold and our room felt rather cool. We asked for some extra bedding (which was provided without a quibble). The hotel breakfast was extortionately priced and so we found Mrs B's Cafe, not far away in the middle of an unpromising office estate but delightful and offering a warm sense of hospitality completely absent at the Bristol Double Tree North. The staff were nice people but I felt they were just doing their jobs processing customers and surviving rather than thriving in an unfriendly corporate environment. If you can avoid staying at this place, do so! (If you have to stay, make sure you go to Mrs B's Cafe for breakfast 😊)

Lots of parking available.
Restaurant is a good size and the food is really good. Staff are really friendly and willing to help.

Pool and gym good size, access to hot room and sauna.

We stayed one night. It was on a Saturday which happened to be the first day of half term. The hotel felt like fully booked, which alone is not an issue. It becomes an issue when you have dozens of uncontrolled kids running up and down everywhere from the hallways, lobby and the spa.
Rather annoying.
The reason of the 3 stars however was the lack of hot water in the shower in the evening. I get it is fully booked, maybe have a system that copes with many people. Showering in cold water is not nice.

The thermostat in the room has an LED so bright it kept me up all night.

Speaking of thermostat, we visited in February and the room was freezing cold when we checked in and it took the system well over an hour to heat up. Mixed with no hot water, this is shambles.

The staff was nice and friendly.
Breakfast was also good.
Parking is £8 a night which is excessive.
They have 3 EV chargers on site too, 1 was faulty.

Would not stay again.

Room was spacious and bed comfortable but it was freezing cold when I arrived. The only heating is air conditioning by a pipe in the ceiling. Despite putting it up to full it made no difference. I asked reception for a heater but this never arrived. In the morning I reported it again, when I returned that evening they said it was working. It was a bit warmer but it took the full 3 days of my stay, leaving heating on 24/7 to finally make any difference.

Booked a Deluxe Queen room .. 🤔 Sadly there was absolutely nothing deluxe about this room . No heating .. reported .. nothing done , but solved the problem yourselves by just turning on the hairdryer full blast for an hour or so . |Bathroom tired but functional. All shampoo/shower gels broken off the walls etc |Breakfast was great and plenty of options . Sadly among many of the broken things in this hotel the 2nd coffee machine didn’t work and resulted in long queues to get a hot drink for your breakfast .|Swimming pool was nice and super hot jacuzzi. Good changing rooms . Need £1 for your locker |You have to pay @£8 to park at the hotel .. don’t bother, park in the road just outside . Plenty of places . ||There is a lovely reception area and really nice seating . Sat and had a few drinks here in the evening . There is a bar .. but quite expensive.. but all hotels are to be fair .

Been staying on an off at this hotel for the past 6 months for work purposes and I can say that the hospitality from the entire team is amazing. Great experience from the welcome cookie to the comfort of the beds. Robin at the front desk has been extremely welcoming and professional, his kind nature encouraged me to pick Hilton constantly over the neighbouring hotels! Highly recommended as the place to be.
