Super morning workout doing the Blue Route among the stunning scenery and low clouds. The route was very well maintained and marked. As a novice, it has made me want to do it again and again! My husband and I hired two Hardtails bikes which were clean and very well maintained and all the staff were smiley and super helpful.

I had an excellent experience with Phil at Cyclewise Whinlatter! After snapping my chain on a ride, Phil quickly fixed it and also took the time to thoroughly sort out my bike’s gears. What really impressed me was how he went above and beyond, demonstrating what to do if I ever run into similar issues again. His knowledge and customer service were top-notch. Absolute first class experience from Finn in Cyclewise
My friend and I had driven two hours to get there to enjoy the MTB Trails and I realised my seat dropper post wasn’t working.
Without any expectations we popped in in the hope we could just get it temporarily lowered.
Finn managed to do this and suggested try one of the trails then come back later if it was still an issue.
We called back after completing one loop and Finn suggested we go have a quick bite to eat at the Cafe there whilst he fixed it. 20 mins later and at a very reasonable price he had changed the cabling and also tightened my head set.
Ready to hit the trails again.
Really friendly, super helpful and great value. Keep up the good work.
Also a shout out to the young blonde female technician who was really friendly whilst we were there.

Great shop and fantastic staff Sam and Phil super nice n helpful... Sam sorted me out with some small cable ties for bodging my rear mudguard, it's sometimes the little things can help you continue riding. Had a nice chat about the bike a Whyte-t160rs V3... Genuinely interested n really nice.. Thank you 👍

Hired 3 Electric Hardtail mountain bikes for a day from Cyclewise at Whinlatter for me and my teenage sons. Great experience all round, online booking was easy, the bikes were great, Specialized brand. It was our first experience of e-bikes and we were glad of the power! We wouldn’t have enjoyed the day as much with normal bikes, it enables us to do the circuits multiple times and the steep hills were no problem. We did the grey easy trail then the blue trail a couple of times, graded moderate difficulty but easy enough to enjoy. The trails are really well maintained despite being so well used. The staff were great. Even the rain didn’t spoil our day!

Brought my two kids (12 & 10) to experience a bit of mountain biking. We all had a great time despite different ability levels. At the end, my 12 yr old was desperate to do more but thankfully Joe gave him some food for thought about saving it for the next time, and to come back for a coached session, which we plan to do. My 10 yr old got some great tips on bike maintenance which I’m hoping will get put to good use back at home!

A lovely place to cycle, well maintained trails, bikes to hire for most ages and well priced. Brought the family along to do the blue trail. Even my 6 year old managed the longer blue trail. (10km)
Will definitely visit again to take on the red and black routes.....!
