For anyone In between who wants to have a quick work out good luck.
Place is always packed, the changing rooms in the swimming pools and sauna are dirty, smell of wee, have bacterial build up all over the tiles and mold (wear flip flops).

This centre is great. The ability to effectively update your direct debit details is non-existent. The staff at the centre do not have the power to do it and the app/website does not provide a facility, other than a contact form. I used this process and it didn’t get updated. After two months of trying we gave up and cancelled the lessons.

The Chiltern Lifestyle Centre feels oddly outdated, like something from the 1980s, despite being brand new. For an affluent town like Amersham, it’s surprising they didn’t create a more upscale facility, like a luxury health spa.

The gym itself is decent but often overcrowded and filled with kids and teens, which makes it difficult to enjoy. The spa area is disappointing—frequently dirty, with cramped changing rooms that offer little to no space.

As for the café, it feels more like a basic school cafeteria than a relaxing spot to unwind. Overall, the centre falls short in every area and is a major disappointment.

Nice gym, lots of variety of equipment to work out on. Just a bunch off weirdos not putting equipment away. Staff need to enforce it. Tell my why your leaving 70kilo on the bench for someone else to clean up

Your front of house staff on reception on 11th January were absolutely disgusting, rude and nasty. Rolling eyes, sarcasm, ignoring customers & no acknowledgement for the dozens of people queuing to get through the gates that weren’t working. People were climbing over the gates to get in!

We all had small children beside the pool, cold and wet waiting to be collected but couldn’t get through the gates and these rude (I dare not call them young ladies because they were certainly NOT ladies) were sarcastic, rude and controlling. Not letting people through until the very last second.

Just let all these PAYING adults and parents through the gates. I can’t believe we all spend SO much money per month at this ‘leisure’ facility with such rude staff members. The either need retraining or sacking immediately.

The changing rooms and showers need WAY more cleaning on the weekends and the side of the pool is something out of a horror movie. I’m genuinely thinking of removing my FOUR children from lessons here if service doesn’t improve. A lot of other parents are suggesting moving to either private swim school or Chesham leisure centre.

Sort your nasty workers out and tell them to let paying adults through the gate when there’s CLEARLY a major issue with your gates and cards not working.

I love visiting the Chilterns Lifestyle Centre, it is literally my second home! I really enjoy the fitness classes I go to (and there are others I want to try) and the gym is really well equipped. It’s incredibly motivating to come here and enjoy keeping active!

Love visiting here , Spritely new building , small community inside this premises , Quite High prices on the use of the gym pay as you go, Very popular centre , lots of facilties from rock climbing , swimming 🏊‍♀️, sauna treatments areas, Library to community centres open to various groups 😀, Lots of parking, pay and display at car owners risk , Parking attendants are around ,Lovely cafe area , scenic atmosphere , Busy community hub

Paid £15 for my kid to have an hr at soft play. £5.50 of which was me paying to sit and watch him. So went to get coffee and a chocolate bar for my kid. Just about to hand over my £5 note then informed they are cashless . Nowhere did I see this stated. I booked and paid on the app so didn't bring wallet just had few quid in pocket for coffee. Bloody ridiculous anyway but should be better indicated cos I knew nothing until trying to pay. Seems petty but it will prob put me off coming back.
