Cadbury College has been a really disappointing experience for me. From the moment I started, I found the staff to be unapproachable, which made it really hard to get any support when I needed it. The teachers aren't nice at all; they seem disinterested and unhelpful, which really affects the learning environment. The lecturers are just plain boring, and their teaching styles do nothing to engage us or make the material interesting.

The atmosphere at the college feels dull and lifeless, and even the other students seem to lack enthusiasm. It's hard to connect with anyone or feel motivated when everything around you feels so uninspiring. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Cadbury College if you're looking for a place where you can feel supported and excited about learning.

I came to this college and I want to share my experience so those wishing to enroll can decide appropriately whether to come or not. When I was 16, I was very confused between Cadbury and another college but I picked Cadbury - then there was not many Google Reviews. I hope this detailed review can help you decide.

I studied within the Professional department which was made up of Law, Accounting, Economics, Business, Financial Studies and Travel & Tourism. The teachers I had were very supportive from Year 12 - Year 13. Whether I had personal issues or college issues, they were always there advising me every step of the way which made me feel comfortable. In this department, other teachers, who do not teach you, do make an effort to speak to you which is quite nice and I really loved my time @ Cadbury because of that; I can always have another teacher to go to to speak about my feelings if I needed to do so. Teachers here are very friendly and very hardworking (as far as I know in this department). What I also loved in this department is that Travel & Tourism had amazing trips going on when I was in Y12 & Y13 to theme parks and other places. I would say every place has something to counteract and I think is the lack of management. If a teacher had to take time off due to illness, there would be a delay in getting a new teacher and when a new teacher came, they did not teach which did have a toll on education. However, as said, the other teachers in this department do support you (even if they don't teach you). Teachers are very good at responding to emails as well.

Lessons are two hours and a half however there is a break in between for 15 minutes. This may seem long however it is beneficial when studying for A Levels and it was very good as timetables were relaxed in the sense that some individuals had a day off (like myself) and some half days and I understand some had two days off but this meant that the next three days was a full day.

What I also love about this place is how friendly everyone is. Most people I met I really got along and I really am going to miss my lessons in this college. From teachers, to students to even dinner ladies!! This college has SSO which are student support officers and they are also an additional piece of support for students which I appreciated at my time @ Cadbury.

Moving onto bursary, I am going to say they have a very good scheme for bursary. I am unsure if I am allowed to say what was under it but I can say around 5+ items were covered which saved me a lot and a lot of money. They provide a free bus pass to all students, regardless of circumstance, provided you have good attendance. What I really appreciated is that if you do live "far", they can add a Train Add on for Zones 1 -5 however this will depend on your postcode & there is a termly fee to contribute. This train add on was so useful @ Cadbury.

I would say to attend to Cadbury as I will miss my time there; I wish I could stay longer there. The journey may have been long but it was worth the memories. I hope this helps.

SCHOOL IS A SCAM. First of all, I chose to do 3 subjects here, however was forced to drop Textiles because there was “no other group or time” (as It had a clash with my other subject) but everyone else got to do what they want but me? because you can’t bother to move timings? It was extremely unfair for them to do that as they never told us there was no guarantee i’d not be able to do everything I wanted, the truth is the teacher doesn’t want to actually work and teach us, so of course she’s going to tell me to “pick something else” 😐 the teachers are super unorganised too, they tell us to buy our own resources and can’t even provide anything at all? Also they don’t even teach, they tell us to do one task and then go on their phones the rest of the time ☠️ some kids like this because they’re unserious and don’t care about their future, but if you do care, please don’t go here, the security guards are so rude, the staff are extremely biased towards people, and overall it’s just a sad environment, especially if your alone and have barely any friends, the “facilities” they advertise so much, you can’t even use, they literally told me to get out the library because you need some weird special card to be in it? and im not making this up, but they also encourage smoking here, instead of completely prohibiting it they told us to just do it “outside” that seemed so weird and disgusting to say to a MINOR most people here are unserious and have hygienic issues as well, just take my word if you actually care about yourself and go somewhere else.

The T-Level Digital Design and Development Course is taught by the most computer-savvy instructors in the college, ensuring each lesson is brimming with fountains of new knowledge, allowing us to make greater steps towards our futures. In just a few short months I’ve gone from having absolutely no knowledge in applications such as Photoshop and InDesign to being able to confidently use them to create things such as books and websites. Learning things like Python provides a fun and challenging experience preparing me for the future.

I'm going to be very honest, this place is hit or miss. The main courses I enjoyed were Graphic Design and Travel and Tourism. If you come here and do graphics, just know you'll have a lot of support from Stuart, he's a great teacher. If you do Travel, you'll probably have Becky, she's a really good teacher.

As a student at Cadbury College, I can honestly say that the college offers students a supportive and stimulating learning environment. One of my chosen A-levels was Graphic communication which is taught by an outstanding teacher called Stuart Moles who helped me immensely throughout my 2 years here.

Stuart Moles goes above and beyond to design a dynamic and interesting learning environment, incorporating real-world examples, current business trends, and hands-on projects that encourage students to unleash their creativity and advance their skills. Stuart's approachable and encouraging teaching style fosters a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where students feel free to express their ideas and work collaboratively with their peers. Stuart's willingness to put in extra time and effort outside of the classroom to ensure his students' progress speaks volumes about his dedication to their academic success and personal growth. His commitment goes beyond the classroom, as he actively promotes involvement in extracurricular activities, contests, and industry events (such as giving his students the chance to create posters for the Rep Theatre and other institutes as a form of work experience), thereby enlarging students' horizon and fostering their passion for graphic communications.

In summary, Cadbury Sixth Form College is a superb organisation that offers students a nurturing and enriching environment. The college fosters a love for learning, personal development, and success through committed teachers like Stuart Moles, who goes above and beyond to motivate and mentor students in graphic communications. Cadbury Sixth Form College is unquestionably a shining example of educational excellence thanks to its exceptional resources, welcoming environment, and dedication to student growth.

I am one of the students at Cadbury college so far I have enjoyed my experience here and because of the great members of staff and the different opportunities after completing the course.
The college is very diverse and friendly. I'm hoping to become a web developer or programmer once I complete my T level course. The course I take covers all aspects of computing and web design and is the perfect fit for me .I have great teachers who are always ready to help me learn.
