This college keeps accepting kids with severe behavioral problems, horrible manners, and no respect for adults, who do nothing but cause disruption in classes and have no interest in learning. The teachers themselves are pathetic because they don't bother to discipline these students and instead enable their behavior, making life completely miserable for students who actually come here to learn and get an education.

The education here, however, is also a massive ripoff. The teachers don't bother to educate the students on how to use computer softwares, or anything for that matter, and if you complain about it, then the staff will just tell you that you need to learn to "teach yourself", which is a pathetic cop out, and these people completely miss the point on what their job requires them to do in the first place; teaching other people how to do things. Which is probably what plays a part in why so many students here are so apathetic and just do whatever they want, because they know most of the teachers are too lazy to do their jobs and actually teach students, so they just either come here to goof off, or bunk off altogether.

This college is a perfect example of why the education system in the UK is dying a slow and painful death.

This was the worst education experience I have ever had! I did an evening GCSE English Language course which started in September 2020. The first time I was supposed to go into college it was the afternoon before the day they wanted us to go. the whole group didn't get the message. I got there and half the class had already been in for an assessment so some had to do that and others did a filling activity. this teacher told us he was just filling in and we would have another teacher for the rest of the time I think in total we had 4 different teachers with absolutely no communication until we were there or waiting for a zoom class that never happened again with no explanation. in January we then got a teacher that we ended up having for the rest of the course. During this time we did activity after activity submitting it to the teacher and had 1 piece of work marked and returned over the the entire year! meaning that I had no idea of how I was doing if I was progressing or if I had anything to work on. this was address very close to the end of the term but we still had no work marked and only had a list of objectives that we had either met or not with no feedback to this either. no lessons were differentiated to help us with our areas that we needed to improve. when asked if we could have some work marked the teacher responded with I have too many students to mark it all! I would thoroughly discourage anyone I thinking of enrolling with this college to think again and find somewhere else. It is an utter shambles.

I would highly recommend this college for anyone who is looking to do Art and design. Without the support and guidance from an exceptionally good teacher (Lucy Carpignani) we would not have seen the day our son goes to University. The percerveirance and dedication was second to none. Thank you Amersham college for all your efforts. A very pleased parent.
