We love our BJJ family. Over the last year we have had the privilege of experiencing private sessions, evening group classes, and morning homeschool classes. Each offering is top quality. The more time we spend with coach AJ the more we love him. He is patient, kind, understanding, fun, has realistic expectations of young children, while maintaining the respect of his students through firm and clear boundaries. Atlantis BJJ values discipline and tradition, all of which help build character and fosters confidence. He is also very inclusive of kids with unique abilities and special needs and is very encouraging. Our son started with no experience and in a few months showed great progress not just physically but mentally. If we ever leave Miami, we will be so sad to part with coach AJ and our BJJ family. If you are serious about joining jitsu and are wanting to join a great community, look no further.

My daughter has been going to Atlantis Jiu-Jitsu and we couldn’t be more in love with this school and the progress that she’s demonstrated. Coach AJ is amazing at what he does and the way he connects with students to build their confidence and support them in their learning journey. His patience, knowledge and compassion creates a very supportive and positive environment for the kids. The school overall is great and reflects the genuine care for its students, I highly recommend it.

My son has been going to Atlantis Jiu-Jitsu for aftercare and Jiu-Jitsu classes three days a week, and it’s been such a positive experience. Mr. AJ is fantastic – he is patient, encouraging, and really knows how to connect with kids. Not only is my son learning valuable self-defense and discipline, but he’s also having fun and making new friends. The aftercare program is well-structured and gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in a safe, supportive environment. I highly recommend Atlantis Jiu-Jitsu to any parent looking for a great place for both aftercare and martial arts training!

Professor Aj is the best instructor out here in Miami! His dedication, experience and the way he connects with his students motivating them to keep rising is what every parent should seek. Atlantis also offers an aftercare program I mean who could beat that? Your search ends here, contact them today!

This Jiu-Jitsu school is fantastic. Professor Aj is one of the best instructors in the area. The family-operated nature of the school really shines through, from Jessica at the front desk to Professor Aj's father, who is also a black belt. My family and I will definitely continue training here.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have years of experience, the instructors go out of their way to support you and make sure you feel comfortable and confident . The classes are incredibly well-structured, with a perfect balance of technique, conditioning, and live rolling. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also excellent teachers who break things down in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. You can tell they care deeply about each student’s progress.
