Just returned from my one hour flight over the North Northumberland Coast and countryside in the flying school's quite compact 2 seater aircraft. Perfect weather, calm and with clear and very extensive views of this beautiful area. I know the conditions couldn't have been better for me but irrespective of that I would highly recommend this experience.

Our 15 year old son had a fantastic 1 hour flying lesson today. His instructor Niall was great - explained everything and made the experience really enjoyable. Highly recommend! 👍🏻

Had a fantastic flight today with Paul.The weather couldn’t have been better. He took time to show me around the plane and explain the controls. Even managed to take the controls on the homeward leg. Left the landing to Paul! Would really recommend the experience. Thanks again Paul and Athey Moor flying school.

Been today for a flying experience day for an hour. Amazing experience. Paul Eden was fantastic. Flew north up the east coast and then inland and finally back to the runway. Seeing all of the towns and beauty spots from above was fantastic and Paul had a running commentary pointing out all of them and some that I didn't know about. Absolutely recommend doing it.

Amazing experience flying with Paul! Very knowledgeable about the location and the plane we were flying. Made me feel really safe and went around the plane explaining the fundamentals of flight and what the instruments did. Enjoyed being able to fly and learn more in the air. If you have never flown before give this a go and if you’re looking for a great experience for a friend or partner get them an experience with Athey’s!!

A flying experience I have looked forward to for a number of years.
Having booked a time and date the weather turned against us.
However the staff could not have been more helpful. After 3 cancellation because of low cloud and rain, I had the flight.
Could not have wished for more, the sun was shining no cloud spectator views of Northumberland countryside and castles. Next summer I am going inland.

Absolutely awesome flight with John, who took me up in the Eurostar. Such a calm and experienced instructor, I was immediately relaxed and at ease. Absolutely perfect flying location with castles, coasts and mountains aplenty. An experience I'll never forget....and will do again soon ,😊. Thank you John!
