I’ve trained at many clubs whilst touring the UK with the theatre. This club is one of my all time favs!

The clubs is never over filled, no waiting for equipment and the club members are super friendly.

Natalie has the best jams on the PA and all the staff are friendly and bring a great vibe to the club. 10/10 - would recommend! Great sign up incentives and a discount for paying annually. Litty!

Best gym I've been too, everyone is so nice and friendly. I'm an older lady and I don't feel out of place, I've made good friends here. I love all the staff here too, always helpful and make time for you.

AVOID

Poor Service & Facilities
• Staff are often disengaged, spending time in the office chatting on the phone or online instead of assisting members.
• Lack of class variety, making the gym feel like an unstructured free-for-all.
• Compared to other gyms, the value for money is extremely poor.

Dishonest & Predatory Membership Policies
• I cancelled my direct debit over a month before I stopped using the gym, expecting that this would end my membership—as it does at most reputable gyms.
• Despite not setting foot in the gym during this time, they continued to demand payment for two additional months, citing a hidden clause in their agreement requiring an email cancellation.
• This lack of transparency is a deliberate tactic to squeeze extra money out of customers who genuinely believe they have cancelled.

Harassing & Desperate Business Practices
• I previously cancelled my membership at PureGym, and their process was seamless. They did not harass me for money on unused services, likely because they don’t need to resort to such tactics.
• Now, after experiencing Anytime Fitness, it’s clear why PureGym is always busy and why Anytime Fitness is dead in comparison. A well-run gym relies on satisfied members, not unethical billing tricks.
• The way they have handled this situation repeatedly chasing me for unjust payments screams desperation.

Avoid This Gym
For those considering a gym membership, look elsewhere. There are plenty of better, more honest options available. Anytime Fitness has zero customer loyalty or ethics, and I would never return. If you’re already a member, be very careful when cancelling, as they will find any excuse to continue taking your money.

Don’t fall for anytime fitness, they will lure you to register with them and after you have registered with them and moved from the area you leave they will still charge you for something you don’t use or don’t want to use again, they charged me for the gym I haven’t used for years and I think that’s unfair on me. Don’t be a victim. Worse gym ever 😡

Brilliant gym with friendly and helpful staff who work really hard to make the place a fun, welcoming and clean environment. Other gym members that I have interacted with have been friendly and respectful too. The gym runs various classes throughout the week which is a plus...as well as the free tea/ coffee machine. There is defiantly something here for everyone, a very diverse Gym that would cater for a wide rage of people/ needs; including step free access around the gym floor (the latter is limited to wellington shopping centre access times).

Very clean gym, with very accommodating staff. Can get quite busy during peak times like lunch and straight after work however, never busy enough where you will be waiting for to long to get on the equipment you want. Fantastic gym, well worth the price.

Awful customer service. Not single member has followed up on my issues yet. I have been trying to contact to them since october and yet no response. However when i stopped my direct debit they messaged me the next hour 😒

Make sure to specify ask for a one month rolling contract or they'll sign you up to a year and you need a doctors note to get out of the contact
