Wonderful Yoga Studio and Inspiring Instructor!

I attended a trial Yoga Beginners class today and was absolutely delighted. Richard Sage is a phenomenal instructor who teaches yoga the way it’s meant to be – with care, depth, and mindfulness.

I also loved that this is warm yoga. The gently heated room creates such a calming environment, helping you relax completely without any external distractions. It felt like being at a yoga retreat in India or another warm, serene place – truly magical!

I’m so happy to have discovered this studio and can’t wait to make yoga here a regular part of my life. Thank you for such a nurturing and inspiring space! Highly recommend!

This is a gem of a studio! I have attended a couple of classes there with different teachers and different styles and absolutely loved all of them. The teachers are very knowledgeable, friendly and with a good sense of humour. Keeping you challenged yet relaxed. The studio has lovely personal decoration everywhere and you feel at home and at peace as soon as you come in!
Attended Ali’s yang to yin and sound bath too and was a real treat! Highly recommend a trip there! I’ll be there everyday if I lived closer.

Akram warm yoga studio is magic. I was lucky enough to live close to the studios and quickly became addicted to the fabulous feeling that I felt after every session. The music, the ambience, the decor, the temperature, the whole vibe is so earthly, homely yet professional. The instructors are sensational! Laura, Zahir, Emma, Lynn and Ali are so warm, welcoming, supportive. I have recently moved away and I cannot tell you how much I miss the place. I didn’t realise how lucky I was to live so close to the studio- I have taken so much from that place. I’m totally unsurprised that it won Om yoga studio of the year 2024 and that Zahir won best teacher ( although I would argue that the ladies are better!) I miss you guys- please open more studios around the country please! 🙏🏼

I’m so over the moon to have found this studio! I left my yin class feeling so relaxed and peaceful after a range of poses and meditation. The studio is warm, inviting, spacious and the lighting and mood is perfect. Zahir is very accommodating and helpful and I can’t wait to go back! I’d highly recommend!!!

I really can't recommend Akram Yoga strongly enough. Since my first class in early January, it has become very much my home away from home. I've taken many classes with a range of different teachers, and they are all, without exception, knowledgeable, professional and welcoming, yet unique in their delivery, bringing their own style and personality to each class. Classes are structured to cater for a range of abilities, from first timers to experienced practitioners, so that everyone is able to practice at their own level. The practice areas have a calm and tranquil feel, and the studio has a really positive vibe. Whether you're new to yoga or have been practising for years, Akram Yoga is definitely worth a visit. Start by having a chat with Zahir, Laura or any of the team, and begin, or continue, your yoga journey in this wonderful studio.

I adore this studio and feel at peace here with teachers that care about your well being. This studio oozes calmness where you can be yourself & really feel like you are in the right place. It is beautifully decorated and you can see a lot of work has been put into it. So unique and special. The teachers are kind and wonderful, sincere and welcoming. I love this studio and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I have tried other studios in other countries but nothing compares to the teaching and tranquillity at Akram Yoga. I can't recommend this yoga studio enough.

If you haven't tried it yet - JUST DO IT! I first joined a class at Akram in 2014...almost 4 years later, I'm still practicing there and have signed up to the Teacher Training course. The studio itself is impeccably clean, well set out and equipped, and all the staff are lovely. It's extremely reasonably priced and there is a real range of classes, with styles to suit everyone, and beginners welcome to all. The teachers are all enthusiastic and passionate about what they're doing, and you really get a sense that they care about you improving and progressing in your practice. I had thought about doing the teacher training for a couple of years, but didn't have the confidence...but it was the teachers at Akram that encouraged me and gave me confidence in my ability. I have made friends both in class and with the teachers, which is just another reason to show up to class each week. I had never tried hot yoga before I came to Akram, and now I would never go back. I just wish I didn't have to go to work, so I could go to more classes! 🙂
