I have been registered with Academics Doncaster since February 2024.
My support contact there has been Charlotta. I have happily secured work from that date through to the 19.12.24 , in different Schools in the area. I have found Charlotta, extremely professional and helpful in placing me in schools that require the skill set that I can provide.
I have been confident working for Academics, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.
I would recommend anyone wanting to work in Education to sign with this company.
I have now secured a permanent position from a placement made through Charlotta and Academics.
I would not hesitate in using Academics in the future should the need ever arise.

I have been working with the Academics team for three months now, specifically working with Charlotta. I got assignments with them as soon as I finished my onboarding process. The team has built such good relationships with local schools and that really has a positive impact on your experience at schools. Charlotta is very professional and puts into consideration people’s personal preferences when assigning you work. She’s been super helpful and very receptive, super communicative and always on the other side of the phone whenever I need to make a call for anything.

When I originally signed up with Academics, for personal reasons, I didn’t take up their services for over a year. When I applied for a supply position at a school I knew that I would have to go through the ‘enrolment process’ all over again. That’s just how it is with all the education agencies that I have used, and I’ve signed up with about 8-9 of them over the 6 years that I have been employed as an agency worker.
When you have a certain amount of experience with agencies you get to know how they work. Which ones are good, which are the ones that actually care about you as an individual, and match you up with with the right school. The ones that if you tell them the school you have been placed at is not what you thought it would be, and they then spend time with you to find another position in another school without having any issues. Agencies that pay the top rate for your services.
Well folks, after my 6 years on supply, it’s Academics that are paying me my best ever daily rate!!!!! Not only that, my agent goes above and beyond for me in their work ethic and professionalism! I’ve learnt the hard way that there are agencies out there who want their pound of flesh from you, Academics have been fantastic with me!
I’m sure that my agent is thinking ‘when is he going to mention my name’? CHARLOTTA LOVELL, that’s her name, from the Doncaster branch.

I have been working with Academics for the last couple of months and I can’t fault them. Rebecca has been my point of contact and she has been wonderful to work with. She goes out of her way to make sure I am happy and comfortable with the schools I am in and is great when I have made requests. She is a warm and friendly person and I have not felt the need to sign up with any other agencies because of this. I would strongly recommend academics!
