Having previously been a nominated tester and having to complete a full course again due to time taken out I can honestly say that the staff at Spectrum were brilliant. I was on a course with mixed levels of experience. They factored in those with less experience and drew on my own experience. The course was well structured and they were keen to listen to feedback to provide a better service in the future. I felt the staff were ethical and keen to improve the wider MOT scheme. Top marks for Sam, Kurt, Wayne and Ish.

If you’re looking to become an MOT tester, MOT centre manager or Hybrid/EV trained, then look no further.

I recently completed my Level 2 MOT course and passed first time at Spectrum Training Services. I had a very enjoyable and pleasant experience from start to finish, which couldn’t be any better!

All staff members are very polite, courteous and helpful. Sam, Kurtis and Wayne are all highly trained and very knowledgeable tutors, who will go above and beyond to ensure you receive all the help you need to successfully complete the course.

The centre is equipped with top of the range workshop, facilities and training equipment that are always maintained and kept very clean to the highest-level of standards.

This is my second course here. The team are absolutely fantastic. Kurtis, Samear, Wayne and everyone involved with the courses I took. Clearly laid out, nothing too much trouble and I was confident going into the actual exams thanks to the course and the time taken to teach us correctly. See you later this year for a couple more.

I had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Kurtis , Wayne and Samear went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I recently completed the Level 3 Pre-MOT City & Guilds qualification at this training center, a crucial step toward becoming an MOT tester for skilled mechanics with atleast 4 years experience —and I’m pleased to say I passed!

The course was well-structured and highly informative. Wayne, our lecturer, was exceptional—his wealth of knowledge, engaging teaching style, and friendly approach made learning both enjoyable and effective. He ensured that every student understood the material.

Omar, the center manager, was equally professional and welcoming. His approachable nature created a comfortable learning environment, and his support throughout the course was greatly appreciated.

Additionally, the facilities were excellent. The team went above and beyond to accommodate all students, demonstrating outstanding hospitality. A particular highlight was the prayer room facilities, which ensured that religious needs were respected—a thoughtful and inclusive touch.
