I have now attended both the Level 2 and Level 3 course, both were excellent. Quality instruction, with a fully equipped work station for each student and a wide range of bikes and components to work on. Also a great place to ride in the evenings (both ride and MTB) - but bring your climbing legs!

Just finished the best 2 weeks ever on the Level 2 and cannot recommended highly enough. If you need this qualification I can thoroughly recommend Sean, with his great teaching and mentoring process. The workshop is perfect, the best tools to use along with plenty of time to get it right. By no means an attendance course, but one which will vastly improves anyone as a bike mechanic. Looking forward to Level 3.

I have just completed Level 2 and 3 over the last month and thoroughly enjoyed both courses. It has great instructors (Sean & Mike) who have an absolute wealth of knowledge and are only too eager to impart it to students. This is not an attendance course and it does require you to work hard to pass but when you do its satisfying to know you have earned the qualification.

It does help if you have a little knowledge prior to attending the courses however it certainly isn't critical. It all depends on how willing you are to learn. This is a great workshop set up in a great surrounding and the courses were worth every penny and we, the students, got on extremely well over the last month.

If you want the best start in the cycle industry I would recommend attending the Cycle Systems Academy.

I have just completed the level 2 course in cycle maintenance and am moving on to the level 3 next week.
The course has been very interesting and we'll delivered by Sean and Massimo, with a good balance of technical and practical learning. The workshop is well laid out and is also in a good location for getting out and about on the bike or generally exploring the Devon countryside.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get into the trade or the budding home mechanic.

I have just finished the Level 2 bike mechanic course and give it a well deserved 5 stars. Sean has a world of knowledge, not only about bike mechanics, but the industry as a whole. He is willing to pass that information on to his students which is invaluable. The workshop is very well equipped with all the specialist tools to do every conceivable job on a bike repair. I am looking forward to doing the level 3 course with Cycle-Systems Academy. Thanks to Sean and Julia.

Having recently completed the L2 qualification with CSA, I can honestly say that my personal experience has been a positive one. I did, however, come to the course with an engineering background which helped massively.

The tools and workshop equipment supplied are very good and the breadth of knowledge from the instructors (Ben & Chris) was evident.

If you want a broader knowledge of modern cycle equipment, you will need to complete both the L2 & L3 courses.

Thanks Guys 👍

Just completed level 2, what a great course!

Very in-depth and at a comfortable, manageable speed. Plenty of opportunity to revisit past topics and to practice areas you are rusty on before assessment. Sean is a great teacher and always happy to re-explain something if you are struggling.

Would recommend this course to anyone interested in bikes.
