I recently completed a four-day course with 1st Gear Motorcycle Training, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They made sure I felt comfortable and confident throughout each session, providing clear instructions and plenty of hands-on practice.

The course was well-structured, and the training was both thorough and enjoyable. Whether it was bike handling, road safety, or maneuvering in tight spaces, I felt supported every step of the way. The instructors took the time to tailor their advice to each individual, ensuring I learned at my own pace but also pushed myself to improve.

Overall, I would highly recommend 1st Gear Motorcycle Training to anyone looking to start or improve their riding skills. The excellent staff, combined with a solid training program, made for an unforgettable experience. I'm now riding with much more confidence and skill—thanks to this fantastic team!

The team at 1st gear were really friendly, helpful and made sure that you knew everything that was needed to pass your tests.

They were also very helpful in providing guidance on how to maintain your bike and what to look out for.

I would highly recommend 1st Gear, My suggestion is if you are looking to get your full bike license then you will be given the all the guidance, support and encouragement to ensure you will pass with flying colours.

I booked a 4 day course for my A2 licence with 1st gear. From start to finish everyone was supportive and the knowledge they have is immense. Passing both my Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time.

The site is great with lots of space to build some confidence with the bike before hitting the road and a great area to practice the Mod 1 drills.

I will definitely be back for any future courses and recommend everyone does the same

I'm so glad I went with 1st for my full bike license and regret not previously doing my CBT with them too! I passed first time on my Mod 1 and Mod 2 tests and only because the instructors were so patient and explained everything so well.
I picked up lots of bad habits before I started my training with them but they were so helpful in teaching me how to ride safely and sensibly, especially on a bigger bike.
The site is really well set up for all the training and I enjoyed every minute when we were out on the road for Mod 2 practices. I can't thank them enough! I will always recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to ride!

1st Gear Motorcycle Training were absolutely fantastic.

They have something special about them, the whole experience was incredible.

I had a great laugh with Michelle when I was booking my training, she put me at ease with her witty comments and made the admin side of it brilliant.

When it came to my training, I was really nervous as I hadn’t been on a bike for over 40 years.

I needn’t of worried about anything, the whole team were just fantastic.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them they would be my go to for anyone who wants to pass.

They have really good people down there to get you through and great bikes. I recently booked to do my CBT here and had a fantastic time. The team have a cracking sense of humour and do a fantastic job at making you feel comfortable and relaxed. I did have a panic attack part way through the day but my instructor, Stefan, handled it really well and gave me the space I needed to sort myself out and gave me some good encouragement once I was back in the real world again. It's really not often I can say I've felt safe having a panic attack in public but I absolutely felt like I was in a safe space. Throughout the day I was able to take things onboard at my own pace and with the right levels of encouragement and guidance to keep pushing my comfort zone without feeling like I was being pressured to keep up with the rest of the groups rate of learning or worry what other people thought of me.

The team also answer emails quickly, offer amazing guidance online and seem super happy just answering general questions. Also, thank you to the guy that offered me a cup of tea when I was bawling, I don't know who you are or if I said thanks but it was appreciated being checked in on.

Looking forward to trying again in a few weeks time!
